Filters should be changed every 2 years, every year if atmosphere is really dirty.
If that is not possible clean filters and rotate 180 degrees top to bottom keeping same sequence., and blow pipes through.
If there is still an airflow problem turn off logic sense dip switch 10 and smoke end cap.
If there is a response within 120 second you are ok to normalise.
REMEMBER to turn logic sense back on.
If response time is more than 120 there is still a blockage somewhere and you will need to contact us again for further assistance.
Checking for blockage
Seal a sufficient number of sampling points with adhesive tape or remove the aspirating pipes from the detector and block the aspirating ducts or reduce the airflow by means of a ball valve.
Check the fault indication on the basic unit.
Optional: Check the airflow value with the DIAG Diagnostic Tool.
Verify the fault signal transmission to the fire alarm control panel.
Enter the result in the inspection protocol.
