Detector Unit Light Sequences
Detector Unit light - Solid amber - If so faulty chamber change chamber
Detector Unit light - Flashes amber twice - Low Airflow Fault
Detector Unit light - Flashes amber three time - High Airflow Fault
Detector Unit light - Flashes amber four time - High stabilization phase after cold start
Instant fire warning - Ribbon cable round wrong way.
Airflow Fault
Filters should be changed every 2 years, every year if atmosphere is really dirty.
If that is not possible clean filters with vacuum and rotate 180 degrees top to bottom keeping same sequence, and blow pipes through.
Smoke Test
TURN OFF Logic Sens - Dip switch 10
Smoke end cap if there is a response within:-
60 seconds - A type
90 seconds - B type
120 seconds - C type
then you are ok to normalise.
REMEMBER - TURN Logic Sens back on
It may not go into fire when smoking end cap as this is testing system is clear of blockages / breakages.
If you wish to check it will go into fire you can take cover off unit and smoke it there.
